Company History : Why are we here…

Back in 2022, we received the opportunity to find rust devs for Star Atlas, a prestigious gaming company in Web3. We started off a country wide search for devs proficient in Rust lang, we signed on the best head-hunting firms in all the major cities. We found a grand total of 11 devs who were familiar with Rust, and we have MILLIONS of devs! To our surprise only 1 of our chosen candidates was able to get the job as a junior developer. This guy hailed from a small city in the hills who had a humble package of about 5 LPA. This man, in his early 20s, went from a humble entry level package to making $151,000/year. Safe to say, his life was never the same. True Story!

We thought to ourselves…”Well damn…if we can change one life, how many more lives can we change?

That was the inflexion point for us to get in touch with the Solana Foundation and formalise a program which teaches Rust Lang and Solana development. This opportunity should be presented to every Indian dev struggling to find a good job in a bustling ecosystem, a step away from mundanity…

We started off with the #solanaforindia initiative and organised 2 free cohorts, followed #escapevelocity1.0. We have taught 700+ devs many of whom have gone on to get a job, win yearly hackathons…

We are organising one last free cohort, Escape Velocity 2.0, after which we will fully focus on our **flagship internship program** wherein you get to **learn with us, build with us and perhaps work with us in the future** or perhaps get a job or even start your own company.
